Grape variety saga - Grenache Blanc
Grenache Blanc is native to Spain, more precisely to the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona. In France, it is found exclusively on the Mediterranean coast, from Perpignan to Nice, as well as in the Corsican massif. Grenache Blanc likes gravelly, stony and warm soils.
Its clusters are rather large and its berries are very juicy and sweet. The wines made from Grenache Blanc are mainly characterized by aromas of fennel and dill, and melon, or even white nectarine.
It is found in particular in the vintage Château l'Hospitalet Grand Vin Blanc , Château la Sauvageonne Grand vin blanc and Château de Villemajou grand vin blanc are very fruity dry white wines with woody and honeyed notes. You can come and taste them at the Château shop, open every day from 9am to 7pm all year round and until 8pm in the summer.
