Description du vin
- Ideally located in a 17 km long natural corridor between the Corbières mountain range and the first foothills of the Pyrenees massif, Maury is, simply by its terroir, an exceptional wine.
- The sun, a fundamental element of the Mediterranean climate, which shines 280 days a year, is one of the qualitative characteristics of the production of Maury.
- The low yield (27 hl/ha) is a guarantee of its quality.

Vinification et élevage
This wine is the result of manual harvesting in bins followed by destemming, mutage on grains and a long vatting of 27 days. We observe a “Pneumatic” pressing in manual mode and juice control. The aging lasts 12 months in barrels of different capacities from 225 to 350 liters. Then, a refinement in bottles in an underground cellar takes place for a year.
Note de dégustation
The dress is deep with purple reflections. Powerful nose of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant) and prunes. Very fine mouth with good length and a spicy finish. Notes of “stewed” fruits with a very beautiful liveliness.
Conservation
Keep away from sunlight and at a constant temperature
