The estate is located northwest of Montpellier, backed by the gates of the Causse du Larzac, at an altitude of between 150 and 350 meters over an area of ​​9.6 hectares. There are two different soils, on the one hand ruffes, a very filtering soil rich in minerals, and on the other hand a sandstone and schist soil, deeper, fractured and allowing the creation of a water reserve. This cuvée comes from a plot selection, the vines are located in a climatic zone with large thermal amplitudes. The distance from the sea and the proximity of the Causse provide a certain freshness during the summer nights, beneficial to a slow and progressive maturation of the berries.
